3 colors you should never wear to a funeral

Good news: you don't have to wear black if you don't have any.   While it's still the safest and most traditional option, other alternatives work perfectly.

  • For women  : a simple dress, a sober skirt, or a pantsuit in dark shades (  navy blue, charcoal gray, dark brown  ). The cuts should be elegant but discreet,   without necklines or overly visible details  .
  • For men  : dark suit with a light-colored shirt and classic tie. Shoes should be understated,   without bright colors or flashy prints  .
  • For everyone  : minimalist accessories. A small, discreet scarf, a simple handbag, and fine jewelry are more than enough.

The idea is to leave all the space for the memory of the deceased person, and not for their own clothing.

Subtlety in dress, a silent gesture of support.
