A little-known symptom of myocardial infarction, common in women and which could be completely ignored.

A doctor named Radha Kachhy has issued a warning about the most common symptoms in women.

A hospital employee recounted the terrifying story of a colleague who suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest while on duty.

However, prior to this major warning, the administrative assistant only presented one indicator of poor health, a fairly common one, which is actually more persistent in women and tends to be ignored.

The incident was described online by an anonymous Reddit user, who currently works in the industry as a biomedical student.

In retrospect, they began by describing the specific symptom in question: "Last week, a member of our administrative staff presented to the emergency room after experiencing jaw and neck pain that progressed to chest pain."

The student, whose name has not been disclosed, went on to confirm that help was immediately available to treat his colleague.

"She suffered a cardiac arrest outside the emergency room, but was resuscitated with CPR," they continued. "She is currently recovering from surgery to have stents placed."

The most common symptoms of a heart attack are constantly emphasized by healthcare professionals, due to the immediate attention they require and the potentially fatal danger they represent.
