Instructions:
Add the pearl barley to boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Pour the water into a colander. Bring 3.5 cups of water to a boil in a separate saucepan, add butter and salt, then the pearl barley. Cook for 30–35 minutes.
Then bake in the oven at 80°C for about an hour – the porridge will be crumbly and tender.

Ingredients:
1 cup pearl barley
, 1 liter water,
2 liters milk

Here's how:
Soak the groats overnight. Rinse them in the morning, pour hot milk over them and bring to a boil.
Then cover and cook in a water bath for about 3 hours.
The finished porridge will have a creamy taste and a pleasant, creamy texture.
